'In June of last year Borne launched their third studio album ‘The Blessed Unrest’ to packed audiences at L.A's premiere and legendary live music venues The Roxy and Hotel café, and performed at a string of international festivals such as SxSW, 02 Wireless and Glastonbury to name just a few.

As Borne’s international success continues to grow, Cam Tapp’s unique vocals and stunning song writing has also begun to take on a life of it’s own. During the process of writing for Borne’s most recent offering, Cam Tapp discovered another side to his sound, “It was at that moment when I knew I had to take some time out for a solo project, time to be independent of tour schedules and release dates.”

Taking that time to rediscover his earthy, country roots, Cam Tapp is now returning to that which inspired him to take to the stage more than 20 years ago…his passion for honest, raw and heart felt music.

The result… 'The little black book of light'.

Cam realizes that the indie road is the harder road, but the views are clearer with occasional glimpses of serendipity and even epiphany. This eternal search for truth drives Cams passion. The endless search for true human expression. True human stories, what he calls the engine-room of the Indie; the origins of humanity…and for Cam Tapp that’s where the inspiration for his songs begin.

The Little Black Book Of Light is Cam Tapp's debut solo album, a dark, brooding and emotionally uplifting offering, communicating heart felt stories about every day journeys through love and life.

The album also features two very particular covers specially chosen to reflect Cam’s journey to date, along with the previous independently release single ‘Lest We Forget’. An offering to those caught up in the 2009 Black Saturday Bushfires ‘Lest We Forget’ involved the children of fire ravaged Marysville, Middle Kinglake and Strathewen primary schools. read more ....
